🌷It’s almost Easter! And wouldn’t it be nice to have a free card to slip into your neighbor’s mailbox? Or in the Easter basket of your children? Or hand to your pastor?
So here’s your free Easter card. And when you join my mailing list (see form below) you get things like this every month or so. (I say, “or so” because I rarely send out emails. So no worries on stuffing your inbox. 🤨)

⛪️ I’m always reluctant to send an email around a major Christian holiday (Lent, Easter, Christmas) because honestly, what could I possibly add? Any ponderings I have are no doubt pithy compared to the majesty and hope provided by Jesus’ work on the cross.
But I will leave you with a few things that have blessed me lately. Hope they bless you too.
From Jennifer Dukes Lee:
I used to wear a t-shirt with the words, “I am the wretch the song refers to,” and maybe I need that reminder more often than I think I do.
When we don’t see the gravity of our sin, we don’t really see our need for Jesus.
Yep. 100%. I think that’s the blessings of unanswered prayers, difficulties, addictions and habits. You realize, “I need help.”
Speaking of unanswered prayers. I have one that I’ve been praying about for 15 years. Ugh. Well, Jennifer also said this:
A good attitude to have as we face Resurrection Sunday.
Blessings to you!
P.S. My book, Nature at Night: Finding Faith, Wonder & Resilience After Dark will be coming out June 3-ish. I will be opening the doors to the book launch team soon. 👀 So watch for that if you are interested.
